The long-term development of Kyanite minerals has led to the depletion of resources and the requirement of application departments for concentrate quality to be of high purity and low hybridization, which has promoted the continuous development of the processing technology of Kyanite minerals. In the future, the beneficiation test research of Kyanite minerals should be further strengthened.
1. Strengthen the research of flotation technology. After the success of acid medium flotation, magnetic separation and gravity separation in Hanshan Kyanite Mine in China, considering the factors of equipment corrosion and environmental protection, the flotation process of r single alkaline medium was studied and formulated. On this basis, the first kyanite concentrator F51 in China was constructed. The production cost of flotation with derivative acid medium is low and the quality of tap ore is high. Acidic flotation is widely used abroad. With the development of anticorrosion technology in China, the application of acidic medium flotation will be more advantageous. In addition, we should further strengthen the research of high-efficiency flotation reagents. For example, alkyl sulfate can wash the polluted mineral surface, have foaming properties and weak collection properties. It can obviously improve the quality of sillimanite concentrate [31].
Attention should be paid to the research and introduction of special beneficiation technology and equipment. The study of Inner Mongolia Gui Gui La and Fujian Putian sillimanite mine shows that the flotation of sillimanite requires uniform, dispersive and stable foam. The flotation machines commonly used in domestic metal mines are too strong in mixing and inflatable, and the flotation of the sillimanite minerals with fine grain size and weak bubble attachment is not beneficial to the processing and utilization of non-metallic minerals. M also shows that the non-metallic mineral industry has been using metal ores for 6 years. The equipment of crushing, grinding, gravity separation, flotation, magnetic separation and electric separation neglects the inconsistency of the separation process, characteristics and requirements of metallic and non-metallic ores, resulting in the decrease of separation efficiency of non-metallic ores and the difficulty of improving product quality. It is necessary to develop special non-metallic mineral processing and processing equipment to improve the utilization efficiency of non-metallic mineral resources. Coarse concentrate can retain the high-temperature expansion of Kyanite minerals well, especially for the large-grained andalusite used as refractory aggregate.
2) Attention should be paid to the comprehensive utilization in mineral processing. Quartz, mica, feldspar, garnet, rutile and graphite are commonly associated minerals in kyanite ores. They have been dissociated in kyanite mineral processing and relatively enriched in middlings or tailings. Their comprehensive recovery and utilization are of great significance for maximizing the value of resources and reducing the environmental impact caused by tailings. For example, the Georgia kyanite deposit in the United States belongs to a lean deposit with only about 8% kyanite content. Besides kyanite recovery, the deposit also comprehensively recovers commercial mica, graphite and other best-selling products.
Our country has abundant resources of "Sanshi" aluminium, complete mineral types, but its general grade is low. It must be processed by beneficiation to meet the domestic demand for high-grade refractories. In recent years, with the development of iron and steel industry and the strong demand for high-alumina "Sanshi" in glass, ceramics, metallurgy, refractories and other industrial fields, the development of high-alumina "Sanshi" has rebounded with the increasing export of M. in recent years. With the long-term development of resources tending to be depleted and the application department's increasing requirement for concentrate fi, China should strengthen the research of flotation technology, pay attention to the research and introduction of special beneficiation technology and equipment, and pay attention to the comprehensive utilization of beneficiation processing in order to ensure the sustainable development of high-alumina "three-stone" industry in the future.
